In Celebration of X-Day, Dr. Zoltan Gives Away All Of His Music For FREE.

As of The Tenth Anniversary of X-Day (July 5, 2008), Dr. Zoltan has delivered a deadly attack on the music industry. “Not all things should be measured,” and Dr. Zoltan is proud to join other brave members of the music community in making all of his music FREE.

That’s right, FREE. Just like text. Just like images. With the much-needed extinction of Record Labels, Recording Studios, and Compact Discs, music of the mass-marketed variety is nothing but a frozen-in-time jingle or advertisement for the true creator behind it all. Thanks to technology, all recordings are now bootlegs. Those who are willing to rise to the challenge (and learn from The Brothers Chaps) will take advantage of the creative freedom and new possibilities that digital media offers. So go ahead — download and share all you want.

And thus the dream of multiple free sushi dinners from major label A&R boys slowly fades away.

    A&R, what were they again?

You will not have fun if you consume this product. This work of high art must be taken seriously. Sit calmly, away from the herd, and pay close attention. Do not dance. Do not drink alcohol or smoke reefer while in the presence of this creative work. Use your intellect to dissect its many elements. Collective consumption in a party atmosphere is prohibited. Use your own mind to judge its complexity and worth. Fun is for humans who cannot think of anything important to do. We are NOT all the same.
